SOUL MENDING®

A journey back to yourself.

Understanding the roots of fear. Reconnecting with your authentic self. Finding a new way forward.

We all develop ways of protecting ourselves from pain. Over time, those protective patterns can shape how we see ourselves, how we relate to others, and the choices we believe are available to us.

Soul Mending is a journey of turning inward with honesty, curiosity, and compassion to understand what lies beneath those patterns—and to reconnect with the parts of ourselves we may have learned to hide, silence, or leave behind.

You don't need to have all the answers. You only need to be willing to take the next step.

Every journey begins with a single step.

Why Soul Mending?

Sometimes, what holds us back has deeper roots.

Fear doesn't always look like fear.

It can look like perfectionism, people-pleasing, withdrawal, overthinking, the need to stay in control, or the difficulty of saying what we truly feel. Sometimes, the very strategies we developed to protect ourselves become the things that limit us.

These patterns often make sense when we understand the experiences that shaped them. Rather than judging ourselves for having them, we can begin to approach them with compassion and curiosity.

Soul Mending invites you to look beneath the surface—not to blame yourself for the past, but to better understand how it has influenced the present.

Because when we begin to understand ourselves differently, new choices can become possible.

The journey

You don't have to change everything at once.

One step. One discovery. One moment of understanding at a time.

The journey inward is rarely a straight line. We may revisit familiar feelings, recognize an old pattern in a new way, or discover something we were not ready to see before.

Soul Mending offers a framework for meeting these moments with intention. Its five-step process provides a practice you can return to whenever a fear, trigger, or new layer of self-understanding comes into view. The 14 stages offer a broader map of the transformations that may unfold along the way.

There is no need to force the process or rush toward an outcome. The invitation is to stay curious, remain compassionate toward yourself, and keep taking the next step.

You are not behind. You are on your own journey.

A process to return to. A path to explore.

Soul Mending brings together two complementary elements.

The Five-Step Process is a repeatable practice for turning toward what is asking for your attention. It helps you approach an experience, fear, or emotional trigger with honesty and intention.

The 14 Stages offer a wider perspective on the journey of self-discovery and transformation—from the first act of acknowledging a truth to a deeper sense of integration between mind and heart.

One gives you a practice to return to. The other gives you a map for understanding the journey.

Together, they invite you to meet yourself where you are and discover what the next step may reveal.

A little support for the journey.

Soul Mending brings together reflective practices and guided meditations to support your personal exploration.

  • The Heart Activation Meditation invites you to turn inward and reconnect with your heart.

  • The Purple Sphere Meditation introduces the Purple Sphere as a central element of the Soul Mending framework.

  • The Soul Mending POD Meditation accompanies the ongoing process of reflection and transformation.

  • Journaling gives you space to record your observations, recognize patterns, and revisit what you learn along the way.

These are invitations, not requirements. You can approach the practices with an open mind, adapt your pace, and remain attentive to what feels meaningful and appropriate for you.

A framework born from a journey of my own.

Soul Mending grew out of my own exploration of fear, self-understanding, and the process of reconnecting with what feels most authentic within us.

What began as a five-step process gradually developed into a broader framework, with symbols and 14 stages that gave language to different parts of the journey.

My intention is to make this work accessible—to offer a way of exploring ourselves that honours both the complexity of being human and our capacity to grow, change, and discover new possibilities.

I believe we can meet ourselves with greater honesty without losing compassion, and pursue change without treating ourselves as something that needs to be fixed.

Soul Mending is an invitation to begin where you are, with what is present, and take the next step.

Where the journey began.

Soul Mending: Healing the Root of Fear

My original book introduced the ideas and practices that became the foundation of Soul Mending. It explores fear, the ways we learn to protect ourselves from pain, and the importance of approaching our inner experiences with love and compassion.

It was the beginning of a journey that continued to unfold, revealing new layers of meaning and a wider framework for personal exploration.

If you are curious about the roots of Soul Mending, the book is a place to begin.
